Health Education Resources

Brandyn Gallagher founded and facilitates the Trans MSM: Rethinking Sexuality and Health online support group for trans men attracted to men and their partners to come together and candidly discuss sexual health and relationships.

Brandyn is also co-moderator of PrEP Facts: Rethinking HIV Prevention and Sex, which provides judgment-free HIV prevention information and space for conversation about sexual health for anyone seeking evidence-based information. This group has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), NY State Dept. of Health, and Project Inform for its exceptional, positive public health impact.

Outshine NW works with HIV researchers and research organizations to collaboratively improve scientific accuracy by ensuring inclusion of transgender people in studies.

This advocacy extends to healthcare providers and social services providers as well, utilizing a cooperative approach encouraging professionals to proactively learn how best to provide for transgender patients and clients.
